Is this a suitable substitute for the Kubota UDT or Super UDT?

The nearest Kubota dealer is about 1.5 hours, so I bought the best I could find at TSC. Doesn't anyone work after 5 on weekdays and noon on Saturdays?

I just bought an L3130 this summer. I looked through my paperwork from the dealer but couldn't find any viscosity rating.

Does mean all Kubota trans/hydraulic oil is the same viscosity? Mixing viscosity in automibile engines is discouraged - is the same true in the transmission and hydraulics of a Kubota?

There is a big viscosity difference between UDT and Super UDT.

A lot of oils meet the UDT specs. Far, far fewer meet the Super UDT specs and those that do have a significantly higher viscosity than the original.

If you have a manual transmission I think you can use other products without problems. In my experience, Kubota HST's run best when fed Super UDT. ....

If you buy a Kubota HST, you can probably safely assume they used Super UDT. Art, can you confirm?

Why not just order it from the store and have them ship it to you? The shipping charges would probably be less than the cost in gas to drive there and back, not to mention the value of your time. ....

Thru the years I've always had a liking for Case-IH hytran in hydro's as they were the first people to use the hydro's. I have had the time to see the differences in transmissions and I only recommend the Super UDT! There is no real copy as much as some say they can! Super UDT is not a 20 weight in any shape or form meaning in cold weather you definitly will be hurting the life of your tractor. ....
